City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on March 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Lance Holmen, Maintenance. Absent: Council member: Sheila Ryker, Sharen Goeman, Clerk

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the March 11, 2013 meeting were approved as read.

Mayor Prins reported he spoke with Jerry Hayes regarding the culvert by the ball field and County Road 52.

Regarding purchasing a truck for plowing the streets, Prins hasn’t seen any sales. Discussion was held on storage of the truck and maintenance. The council will continue to discuss this option.

Determan brought up the cat problem in Jeffers.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Duroe for city clerk to pay all bills that are due that require payment before the next meeting and approve the financial report, unanimous vote.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. having no further business.
