City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on May 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.  Present:  Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Sharen Goeman, Clerk.  Absent: Sheila Ryker, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Minutes from the April 28, 2014 meeting were approved as read.

Mayor Prins reviewed the estimates from SMC and Bargen.  The council would like to review an estimate from the City of Westbrook as well.  A special meeting will be held on May 19, 2014 at 5 p.m. to make a decision on the street repair estimates.

The only bid was opened from Jeffers Dray Line for 2014 City Maintenance.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous s vote to accept Jeffers Drayline’s bid for 2014 City Maintenance.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Duroe, unanimous vote that there shall be no meeting on Monday, May 26, 2014 due to the Memorial Day holiday.  The clerk is instructed to pay all bills until the next meeting.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Duroe, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Duroe, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn having no further business at 8:15 p.m.
