City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.  Present:  Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Sheila Ryker. Sharen Goeman, Clerk.  Absent: Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Minutes from the May 12, 2014 meeting were approved as read.

Discussion was held regarding 308 E. Woodman and the possibility of razing the property.

Determan will check with Andy Speilman about an estimate for concrete work in town.  The curb by the school, a drive-over gutter by the fire department and Barker’s corner.

The Rindfleisch trailer was discussed.  The clerk was instructed to send a letter to Rindfleisch to ask him to attend the next meeting on June 23, 2014 with his future plans.

The mayor reported that Bargen completed the heat patches in town and the corner near Peavey and Moffett was discussed.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Duroe, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:08 p.m. having no further business.
