City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on December 8, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at City Hall.  Present:  Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.   Sharen Goeman, Clerk.  

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.  Minutes from the November 24, 2014 meeting were approved as read.

Visitors:   Chantelle Martin and Robert Arends

Martin presented information to the council regarding her building permit for a 30’x 20’ x 10’ Tarpeline hoop building.

Motion Determan, second Duroe, unanimous vote to approve the building permit.

A building permit for Paul Huls was reviewed by the council.  Motion Ryker, second Determan, pending more information.  Unanimous vote.

Lance reported the grader will be going to the shop for some maintenance.  Holiday banners were put up today.  Thank you to Nick Willardson for his assistance.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills through the end of the year and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. having no further business.
