City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on November 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Sheila Ryker, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the October 26, 2015 meeting were approved as read.

The clerk announced that the Amboy Sunrisers are planning to meet the third Monday of each month at City Hall.

The council decided to pay for the time to train for the First Responders what your current certification requires.

The clerk will check with Lance regarding the invoice from Badger Meters. The occupant of 112 W. Whited has moved and the water is off.

Mayor Prins presented the 2015 Fire Pay of $7,318.00. Motion Dorr-Jones second Duroe to authorize it to be paid. The fire department’s annual meeting is November 20, 2015.

The clerk will check with Slim to have him speak to Martins regarding the structure they have in their yard to make sure it is up to code.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Duroe, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Duroe, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:15 p.m. having no further business.
