City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 27, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the June 13, 2016 meeting were approved as read.

Rons Electric was present to propose an estimate for a generator for the siren and power backup for City Hall. The estimate was $11,134 installed.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to purchase from Rons Electric and add a structure for the generator.

A report of dog killing domestic pets in cages was heard. The clerk will check with the City Attorney regarding the incident.

Two houses will be torn down in Jeffers before July 4th.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:21 p.m. having no further business.
