City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on July 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the June 27, 2016 meeting were approved as read.

City Maintenance bid was discussed.

Dangerous dog designation was discussed.

The mayor will check into the Stowe property.

A power supply for the bands at future street dances was discussed.

Lance reported on an inspection from the Minnesota Department of Health. They are requesting the chlorine cabinet be replaced.

Motion Determan, second Ryker, unanimous vote to purchase a metal cabinet and place it on a cement pad for chlorine.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to pay all bills and approve the financial report. Unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:25 p.m. with no further business.
