The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on August 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones. Sharen Goeman Clerk, Lance Holman, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the July 25, 2016 meeting were approved as read.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to deem two residents dogs as dangerous dogs and to proceed with a letter from the city attorney, unanimous vote.

Motion Duroe, second Determan to have Johnson and Johnson Construction install a 17 x 32 concrete pad in the SW corner of cold storage, unanimous vote.

Lance will purchase an extended chainsaw.
Power supply for future street dances was discussed.

The clerk reported the Highway 30 Pre-scoping meeting for potential projects identified in MN Dot 10 year Capital Highway investment plan.

The clerk will speak with the county regarding properties in town. Houses that could potentially be on the demolition list were discussed and tabled until the next meeting.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to pay all bills and approve the financial report. Motion Ryker, second Determan to adjourn at 8:30 p.m. having no further business.
