City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on October 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Roberta Duroe, Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones. Sharen Goeman Clerk, Lance Holman, Maintenance.

Mayor Pro Tem Roberta Duroe called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the September 26, 2016 meeting were approved as read.

A building permit for a fence was reviewed. Motion Determan, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote.
The Mainstreet Coffee Shop is looking for commercially zoned property for a sign to advertise their business. The clerk will check with the county assessor for details.

The owners of the dangerous dogs havent signed for the registered letter declaring them dangerous, so the attorney will serve the letter on their attorney. The 14 days they have to follow the procedures of the statute will start then.

Lance presented grader options to the council. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to purchase a 2009 Case for $92,643. Payments will be made over 6 years of $16,779.57 at an interest rate of 3.150%.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. having no further business.
