The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on November 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Council members: Mayor Brad Prins, Sheila Ryker, Roberta Duroe, Curt Determan. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance. Absent: Shawna Dorr-Jones

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the October 24, 2016 meeting were approved as read.

Visitor: Sue Goeman, Lions

Sue Goeman was present to update the council on the progress of the class pictures from the Jeffers school. Several are in need of further repair. The Lions will work on them next spring.

Goeman also reported that the Lions would like to take on replacing street signs in Jeffers as their Legacy project for the Lions Club.

Lance reported that a lean to will be built over the new generator at City Hall to protect it from the weather. The new grader will be here any day.

The clerk reviewed the election results with the council.

Motion Ryker, second Duroe, unanimous vote to make the first grader payment right away.

The clerk will check on the requirements of PERA.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:02 p.m. having no further business.
