City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 26, 2017. Present Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Sheila Ryker, Jed Rhubee, Sharen Goeman, Clerk/Treasurer, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from June 12, 2017 were approved as read.

Animal Control Officer was present to review Dangerous Dog events.

The clerk will request proper documentation from Dangerous Dog owners.

The clerk will also notify the City of Windom that one of the dangerous dogs is kept in Windom.

Discussion was held and tabled regarding upcoming street upgrades.

RESOLUTION #2017-02 ADOPTING LIEN FOR UNPAID CHARGES was reviewed and adopted by Rhubee, seconded by Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote

Building permits for two decks and a permanent water fountain/garden shed were approved pending Slims approval. Motion Determan, second Rhubee, unanimous vote.

Lance will be spraying for mosquitos.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. having no further business.
