The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on July 24, 2017. Present Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Jed Rhubee, Curt Determan, Sharen Goeman, Clerk/Treasurer, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from July 10, 2017 were approved as read.

Visitors: Jeffers Lions: Don Marcy, Sue Goeman

Lions’ Club members Marcy and Goeman were present to discuss ideas for school photos, a safe driving class and pickle ball.

Lance presented quotes for the filter at the water plant. Work could be completed this fall and would last approximately 4 weeks.

Discussion was tabled on water filter until the next meeting.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:30 p.m. having no further business.
