City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on October 9, 2017.  Present Mayor Brad Prins  Council members:  Jed Rhubee, Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones; Clerk/Treasurer Sharen Goeman.    Absent:  Council member Sheila Ryker and Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  The minutes from September 25, 2017 were approved as read.

Motion Determan, second Dorr-Jones unanimous vote to approve the Winter Snow Agreement with Cottonwood County.  

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to have Halloween trick or treating from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31st.   

If you want to pass out treats, please turn your porch light on.  A curfew will be in effect from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Determan, second Rhubee, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:20 p.m. having no further business.
