City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on November 27, 2017.  Present:  Mayor Brad Prins; Council members: Jed Rhubee, Curt Determan; Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sharen Goeman, Clerk and Lance Holmen, Maintenance, Sandy Olson, Animal Control; absent  Sheila Ryker Council member.  

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  The minutes from November 13, 2017 were approved as read.  

Visitors:  Dallas Giese, Curt Carter  

Discussion was held on Red Rock Rural Water.  

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Rhubee, unanimous vote to reimburse Rene Celedon for EMT refresher training.  

Lance reported the new Christmas lights will go up next week.  

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Rhubee, unanimous vote to cancel the council meeting on December 25th due to the Christmas holiday and the Clerk should pay all bills through the end of the year.  The clerk will have the council pay ready on December 11th.  

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.  

Motion Determan, Second Rhubee, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. having no further business.
