City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on February 26, 2018 at Jeffers City Hall. Present Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance. Absent: Jed Rhubee

Mayor Prins call the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from February 12, 2018 were approved as read.

The clerk reported on a financing option from MN Rural Water. The clerk will do some more checking into other options and consulting the city auditor.

The council decided on a date for City wide cleanup and will check with Hometown Sanitation.
The clerk presented an idea of purchasing an emergency defibrillator to place in the community. Liability issues will be researched with the city attorney.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:07 p.m. with no further business.
