City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on April 23, 2018 at Jeffers City Hall. Present Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Jed Rhubee. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins call the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from April 9, 2018 were approved as read.

Visitor: Greg Burkhardt

Burkhardt presented the 2017 Audit to the council.

Motion Determan, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to approve the Audit report.

Lance presented a trade in offer for the citys lawn mower from Ag Power for a new mower for a difference of $2,750.

Motion Determan, second Rhubee, unanimous vote to purchase the mower. The street sweeper will be coming in the next few weeks.

Rhubee informed the council that he will be moving out of the City of Jeffers. The clerk will check into the steps for replacing him on the council.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. having no further business.
