City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on May 14, 2018 at Jeffers City Hall.

Present Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Jed Rhubee. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins call the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from April 23, 2018 were approved as read.
Visitor: Dominic Jones, RRRW

Jones reported he would like to discuss the purchase agreement on May 21st. A special meeting of the City Council will be held on May 21, 2018 at RRRW at 7 p.m.

Motion Determan, second Dorr-Jones to replace 2 valves and bypass another at the water plant. Unanimous vote.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote not to have a meeting on May 28, 2018 due to the Memorial Day holiday.

A building permit for a resident to install storage shed in their yard, Motion Dorr-Jones, second Rhubee, unanimous vote pending Slims approval.

A building permit for a resident to add an addition to the house, Motion Rhubee, second Ryker, unanimous vote pending Slims approval.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan to adjourn at 8:35 p.m. having no further business.
