The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on October 8, 2018 at Jeffers City Hall. Present
Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Jake Barlow; Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Curt Determan, Maintenance Lance Holman
Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The minutes from September 24, 2018 were approved as read.
A building permit for Millers Repair to install a tire rack was reviewed and approved, motion Dorr- Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote pending Slims approval.
A resident complaint was discussed and was determined that complaint was a civil matter.
The mayor discussed a water issue in front of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Information will be collected and discussed at a later meeting.
The Cottonwood County Winter Plowing agreement was reviewed. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Barlow, unanimous vote to approve.
Mayor Prins reported that three more pagers have been order for the fire department due to the age and repair state of the present pagers.
Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills.
Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:50 p.m. having no further business.
