City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on October 22, 2018 at Jeffers City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Jake Barlow, Curt Determan, Maintenance Lance Holman, Peggy Hubley-Assistant Clerk

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The minutes from October 8, 2018 were approved as read.

There was discussion on the water issue in front of the Trinity Lutheran Church. The City will get an estimate to have a new line bored in on the north side and prices for curb and gutter.
There was discussion on various city code violations.

The hydrants will be flushed on October 23.

Hopefully the water will be switched over to Red Rock Rural Water by November 5. The council decided to put extra gravel on some alleys.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:50 p.m. having no further business.
