City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on February 11, 2019. Present Mayor Pro- Tem Curt Determan, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Jake Barlow, Sharen Goeman, Clerk/Treasurer, Lance Holmen, Maintenance. Absent: Mayor Brad Prins

Mayor Pro-Tem Determan called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from January 14, 2019 were approved as read.

Visitor Darlene Gingrich was present to express concern over damage from snow removal on a neighbors lot. Gingrich also reported illegal burning by a neighbor and illegally placing objects in the alley.

RESOLUTION #2019-01 Adopting Lien for Unpaid Charges

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to adopt the resolution.

Lance reported that it is time for the water tower to be inspected. Estimate from KLM Engineering for $1,000/ inspection was approved.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Barlow, unanimous vote to approve the financial report and pay the bills.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. having no further business.
