City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on March 25, 2019. Present Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Jake Barlow, Sharen Goeman, Clerk/Treasurer, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. The minutes from March 11, 2019 meeting were approved as read.

City wide clean-up was discussed. The clerk will check on dates in May.

A new storm sewer for the corner of Scott and Moffett was discussed. Lance will talk with Drayline for this project.

Board of Review for the city of Jeffers is Wednesday, May 8 at 5 p.m.

The clerk presented a quote from I-Citizen for the purchase of a new computer for utility billing. The cost would be approximately $690 for the computer and to restore the information from the old to the new. The main computer also needs Windows 10 installed, which will be approximately $150.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:08 p.m. having no further business.
