City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 8, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Jake Barlow, Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Visitor: Mark Meier

Meier was present representing the Jeffers Fire Department regarding a space issue for fire trucks. Meier proposed an addition, bid on the old County Shop or a new building. There are three new fire department members.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to fill in ditch and put in piping near the old Amboy Township shed.

The clerk will file a claim with the League of MN Cities for damage to a residents camper. The clerk will check into a cleanup day for this fall.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.
Motion Ryker, second Barlow to adjourn at 8:37 p.m. having no further business.
