City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 22, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr- Jones, Sheila Ryker, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance Absent: Curt Determan, Jake Barlow

Ordinance violations were discussed. Tabled until next meeting.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to approve a building permit for Lynn Arndt to add a garage to her property.

Water bills were discussed, and shutoff letters will be sent to residents. A civil fine was discussed.

The clerk will send letters for a fence that was installed that needed a permit and lawn mowing.
The clerk will check with the city attorney regarding the south half of the school building being zoned for apartments.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones adjourn at 8:08 p.m. having no further business.
