City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr- Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Jake Barlow Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Ordinance violations were discussed. Letters will be sent to residents in violation.
Motion Determan, second Ryker, unanimous vote to approve a building permit, pending Lances approval.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Barlow, unanimous vote to approve Resolution #2020-08 Requesting Assessments be Reassessed to Parcels.

The clerk will contact the county auditor/treasurer to check on the parcels that are up for auction.
The clerk reported to the council a dog that has bitten two people. The animal control officer has been contacted and she will start the process to deem the dog a Dangerous Dog.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to approve Resolution #2020-07 Appointing Election Judges for the August 11, 2020 Primary and the November 3, 2020 General Election, Designating Polling Place and Setting of Polling Hours.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.
Motion Ryker, second Determan adjourn at 8:00 p.m. having no further business.
