City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on October 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance Absent: Jake Barlow

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the October 12, 2020 meeting were approved as read.

The On/Off Sale Liquor License renewal from Jeffers Main Street Liquors was presented. Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote.

Greg Burkhardt recommended a debit card from State Bank of Jeffers for use by city staff when invoicing is not an option. A separate account attached to the debit card was recommended by Burkhardt.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to open a new checking account attached to debit cards for city staff.

The clerk will check on the property value of a home on Whited Street.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Determan to adjourn at 7:44 p.m. having no further business.
