City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on December 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Jake Barlow. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the November 23, 2020 meeting were approved as read.

Unanimous vote.

Adopted: Ryker Second: Barlow
Unanimous vote.

Unanimous vote.

ADOPTING LIEN FOR UNPAID CHARGES
APPROVING THE 2021 TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 2021
APPROVING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR 2021
   A building permit was reviewed for a temporary storage shed. Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote.
   
The mayor, council and zoning pay were reviewed. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote.

Holmen presented an estimate for the water plant insulation spraying of approximately $3,200. Motion Determan, second Barlow to go ahead with the spraying. Unanimous vote.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to pay all bills through the end of the year and cancel the second meeting on December 28 due to the holiday. Unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan to adjourn at 8:12 p.m. having no further business. Unanimous vote.
