City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on March 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Jacob Barlow. Sharen Goeman, clerk. Absent: Council members: Curt Determan and Shawna Dorr-Jones, Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the February 22, 2021 meeting were approved as read.

Discuss was held about motorized toys within the city limits. Mayor Prins will check with the Sheriff regarding laws.

The clerk reported that the auditors were at City Hall on March 4th for the annual city audit. The auditors will present the audit in the next few weeks via Web-ex.

The fire department needs to replace the 1985 single axel truck. They will be looking for something and would like to park it in the water plant. The council agreed to allow this.

Motion Ryker, second Barlow, unanimous vote to pay all bills.
