City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on May 24, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan and Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Jacob Barlow. Sharen Goeman, clerk. Absent: Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the May 10, 2021 meeting were approved as read.

A building permit for a storage shed was reviewed. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote.

A building permit for a deck was reviewed. Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote.

A new city sign was discussed. The clerk will check with other cities and Syds Signs from New Ulm.

Letters will be going out to property owners that need mowing. Lance will be spraying for bugs every 2 weeks.

A list of unlicensed vehicles will be compiled so letters can be sent. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8 p.m. having no further business
