City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on October 11, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sharen Goeman, clerk.

Absent: Council members: Jacob Barlow, Curt Determan, Lance Holmen, maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the September 27, 2021, meeting were approved as read.

The purchase of a new trailer will be tabled until spring.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to approve liquor licenses for Jeffers Mainstreet Liquor LLC.

Resolution #2021-08 Transferring of Funds, Adopted by Dorr-Jones, second by Ryker, unanimous vote.
Halloween Trick or Treating hours were set for Sunday, October 31st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Only stop at houses with the porch lights on. Curfew is from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday November 1, 2021.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. having no further business.
