City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on January 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan, Jacob Barlow, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance. Absent: Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the December 13, 2021, meeting was approved as read.

The council reviewed City Offices. Motion Determan, second Barlow unanimous vote to keep the city offices the same.

RESOLUTION #2022-01

The City of Jeffers DOES NOT WAIVE Monetary Limits on municipal tort liability established by the Minnesota Statutes, Section 466.04 to the extent of the limits of the liability coverage obtained from the LMCIT.

RESOLUTION #2022-02

Resolution setting fees and charges for 2022

Adopted: Determan Seconded: Barlow Unanimous vote.

Lance reported the new doors for the fire hall will not be coming until the end of March. The city sign should be delivered next week.

Motion Determan, second Barlow to pay all bills, unanimous vote.

Motion Determan, second Barlow unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:24 p.m. with no further business.
