City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on March 14, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Council members: Curt Determan, Jacob Barlow, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the February 28, 2022, meeting were approved as read.

Mayor Prins did not reach the property owner of the vacant house. He will continue to try to reach him.

RESOLUTION #2022-03 TO ELECT THE STANDARD ALLOWANCE AVAILABLE UNDER THE REVENUE LOSS PROVISION OF THE CORONAVIRUS LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY FUND ESTABLISHED UNDER THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT
Adopted: Dorr-Jones Second: Ryker Unanimous vote.
RESOLUTION #2022-04 AUTHORIZING TRANSFERRING OF FUNDS
Adopted: Ryker Second: Dorr-Jones Unanimous vote

Burkhardt & Burkhardt auditors will be at the city to do the fieldwork for the audit on Thursday, March 17th.

Ryker stated that Tyson Anderson would like to be on the agenda for the March 28th meeting regarding annexing property to the city.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker to pay all bills, unanimous vote.
Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:56 p.m. with no further business.
