City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on May 9, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance Absent: Jacob Barlow.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the April 25, 2022, meeting was approved as read.

The council reviewed a fence permit. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote.

The council reviewed a building permit for a garage. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote.

Lance reported on an application for a grant to rehab the water tower through Bolton & Menk.

The clerk will send a letter to a business owner regarding vehicles that are not licensed. Motion to pay all bills Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:30 p.m. with no further business.
