City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on August 22, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Jacob Barlow; Sharen Goeman, Clerk Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the August 8, 2022, meeting was approved as read.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to approve the curb removal permit for a resident.

The clerk presented Levy information for review. The discussion was tabled until next meeting.

RESOLUTION #2022-06 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFERRING OF FUNDS

Adopted: Determan Second: Ryker

To authorize the transfer of $30,000 from the general fund to the fire fund to synchronize accounting and budgeting procedures.
Unanimous vote.

Lance reported the house on Whited Street was razed by Jeffers Drayline.

Motion Dorr-Jones to pay all bills, second Determan, unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Barlow, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:02 p.m. with no further business.
