City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on October 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Sharen Goeman, Clerk.

Absent council members: Curt Determan, Jacob Barlow; Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the September 26, 2022, meeting was approved as read.

The 2021-22 First Responder Pay report was reviewed. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to approve the pay.

Halloween hours are set for Monday, October 31st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you wish to have trick or treaters stop at your house, please leave your porch light on.

Ryker presented quotes for a pickleball court in the park. Discussion was held and tabled for the next meeting.

A letter will be sent to a resident with a refrigerator in their yard.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. with no further business.
