City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on December 13, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Jacob Barlow, Sharen Goeman, clerk. Lance Holmen, maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the November 28, 2022, meeting were approved as read.
Motion Ryker, second Barlow, unanimous vote to approve the 2023 Ambulance Contract with Westbrook Ambulance.

RESOLUTION #2022-07 ADOPTING LEIN FOR UNPAID CHARGES

RESOLUTION #2022-09 APPROVING THE 2023 TAX LEVY

Unanimous vote

RESOLUTION #2022-10 APPROVING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR 2023
Adopted: Determan Second: Barlow Unanimous vote.
 
Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker to cancel 12/26/22 meeting due to the holiday and pay all remaining 2022 bills, unanimous vote.
The first meeting of 2023 will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 6 p.m. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Barlow to pay all bills, unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:48 p.m. with no further business.
