City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on April 24, 2023, at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan, Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Jacob Barlow Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Lance Holmen, Maintenance

Visitor: Sandra Wood

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the April 10, 2023, meeting was approved as read.

Wood was present to request approval of a building permit to move storage containers on to her property.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to approve building permit.

Lance reported street sweeping will happen early in the first week of May. Please remove vehicles from the street so the sweeper can do its job.

Several residents have been having issues with their sewers. This has been caused by the residential services lines and is not a fault of the city sewer system.

Lance will be checking all city streets for spots in need of repair. Lance will contact the Pickleball court company.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to approve the financial reports and pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:52 p.m. with no further business.
