City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

 The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on June 5, 2023, at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Absent: Council members: Sheila Ryker, Mike Schoper, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the May 22, 2023, meeting was approved as read.

Visitor: Cindy Gohman

Gohman was present to offer her services to board dogs picked up by Animal Control on an emergency basis only.

Ordinance violations were discussed by council members. Letters will be sent to nuisance ordinance violators.

A zoning application was reviewed by the council.

Speed signs should be installed this week.

Estimates were reviewed from Bargen for street repair and the tennis court. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Determan, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:28 p.m. having no further business.
