City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on July 24, 2023, at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Mike Schoper. Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the July 10, 2023, meeting was approved as read.

RESOLUTION #2023-07 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR GRANT NAVIGATION SUPPORT FOR THE CITY

Lance reported he would like to purchase a John Deere Lawn tractor from Bill Michel for $350.
Motion Schoper, second Ryker, unanimous vote.

Motion to hire C & L Seal Coat to patch and seal streets and tennis court at park for an estimated $25,000.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to hire Pinpoint Corporation to write a grant for a new fire truck.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan unanimous vote to pay all bills.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:12 p.m. having no further business.
