City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on April 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Curt Determan,
Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones. , Michael Schoper, Sharen Goeman, Clerk.
Absent: Council: Michael Schoper, Sharen Goeman, Clerk, Lance Holmen,
Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the March 25,
2024, meeting was approved as read.

The council read the contract for an engineering service proposal from
Pinpoint Engineering regarding the new fire hall. Ron Schramel, the City
Attorney, suggested some changes and Auditing firm Burkhardt & Burkhardt
also has questions. Approval was tabled until a later date.

Questions for proposal are as follows:
 Trees
 Site Preparation
 Local Contractors for inside work
 Water/Sewer
 Storm Drains
 Building Drainage
 
Lance has not heard back about the pump at sewer pond.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to pay all bills and approve the financial
report, unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:48 p.m.
having no further business.
