City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on May 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at City
Hall.
Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones.

Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Council: Michael Schoper, Curt Determan Lance Holmen,
Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from the April 22, 2024, meeting
was approved as read.

Visitors: Les Schaeffer
Paul Burkhardt  Burkhardt & Burkhardt

Schaeffer was present to discuss property line issues. The mayor recommended that he
confer with the Assessors office about the issue.

Paul Burkhardt presented the audit for 2023.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to approve the city audit.

Mayor Prins updated the council on the Fire Hall project.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to approve the use of AET for Geotab
and Madsen Surveying for the additional surveying that needs to be done.

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote to allow Mayor Prins to verbally
approve the changes to the contract with Pinpoint/ ID8 Architecture.

The clerk will send letters to residents that need to mow their lawns.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to not have a meeting on May 27, 2024
due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills with check#s 00331E

Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 p.m. having no further
business.
