City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on September 9, 2024, at
7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila
Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Michael Schoper, Curt Determan; Sharen Goeman,
Clerk. Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

The clerk presented the proposed budget for 2025.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to approve the
proposed budget for 2025.

The next council meeting will be moved to Tuesday, September 24th at 7 p.m.
due to the Red Rock Central Coronation.

The proposed levy for 2025 was discussed. Motion Determan, second Schoper
to increase the levy by 4%, for a total of $214,726. Aye  4, Nay  1. Motion
passed.

The clerk will send a fine to a resident for dogs running at large.
Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan unanimous vote to pay the bills and

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.
having no further business.
