City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in a REGULAR session on October 14, 2024, at
7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Sheila
Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan; Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent:
Michael Schoper, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

The council reviewed the Winter Snow Agreement from Cottonwood County
Highway. Motion Ryker, second Dorr-Jones, unanimous vote.

The Jeffers First Responder Pay was reviewed. Motion Dorr-Jones, second
Determan, unanimous vote.

Trick or Treat hours for Thursday, October 31st were set at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
with a curfew at 10 p.m. Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote.
A resident will be sent a fine for allowing their dogs to run at large.
The pumper truck will be out of service due to a repair. Mutual aid fire
departments will be notified.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan unanimous vote to pay the bills and
