City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

Jeffers City Council met in the REGULAR session on September 22, 2025,
at 7 p.m. at City Hall. 

Present: Mayor Brad Prins; Council members: Sheila
Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Michael Schoper, Curt Determan; Lance Holmen,
Maintenance. Sharen Goeman, Clerk.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from September 8,
2025, meeting was approved as read.

Lance reported a quote from Bargen for street sweeping of $450/hour with a
four-hour minimum. Motion Ryker, second Schoper to go with Bargen for fall
street sweeping.

ISG will be canvassing the city looking for lead pipes.

Trees at the ballpark have been planted. Blue Stem will be back this week to
continue the planting.

There will be a new EMR course for anyone interested in becoming a first
responder for the city of Jeffers in Tracy. More details to follow.
Letters will be sent regarding tree trimming.

Motion to pay all bills and approve the financial report Dorr-Jones, second
Determan, unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan , unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:30 p.m.
having no further business.
