City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

Jeffers City Council met in the REGULAR session on November 24, 2025,
at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins; Council members: Sheila
Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan; Lance Holmen, Maintenance.
Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Michael Schoper

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes from November 10,
2025, meeting was approved as read.

The clerk updated the council on the dangerous dog situation. Fines will be
sent to owners.

A report of a property owner building a deck without a building permit. The
clerk will send a triple fine with a building permit to complete to the owner.
Burkhardt & Burkhardt will be merging with Carlson CPAs & Advisors. The
citys engagement team will not be changing.

Bills will be sent to property owners who did not take care of the vegetation in
their alleyways.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan to pay all bills and approve the financial
report, unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Determan , unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:23 p.m.
having no further business.
