City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on September 30, 2026, at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan, Sheila Ryker,
Michael Schoper, Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00p.m. Minutes from September 14, 2026, meeting
were approved as read.

Schoper proposed the council get a plan in place for the fire hall needs so donations could be
received from those wanting to donate to the new fire hall.

The clerk reported preparing for a quick support grant to the SW MN Arts Council.

Lance reported Keck Tree Service will be trimming the trees over the streets.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan unanimous vote to pay the bills and approve the financial
report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan to adjourn at 7:42 p.m. having no further business.
