City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on October 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Shawna Dorr-Jones, Roberta Duroe, Sheila Ryker, Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Curt Determan, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Brad Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes of the October 10, 2011 meeting were approved as read.

Visitors: Dennis Johnson, Wenck
Rory Lindvall, Cottonwood County

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to adopt Resolution 2011-04 Assessments for the Woodman Street Water Main project.

Lindvall presented the final pay request from Quam for the “2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project” for $27,141.18.

After discussion, motion Duroe, second Ryker, unanimous vote to accept the final pay request from Quam of $27,141.18.

The clerk report to Lindvall regarding the areas of sidewalk that is in need of attention. Lindvall stated that he will take care of those areas.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Duroe, unanimous vote to pay M.R. Paving for the saw cut patches in the amount of $1,605.00.

The Cottonwood County Winter Agreement was tabled for more information.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker to pay all bills and approve the financial report. Unanimous vote.

Motion Ryker, second Duroe to adjourn at 7:36 p.m. having no further business.
