City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on February 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Sheila Ryker, Curt Determan, Lance Holmen, Maintenance. Sharen Goeman, Clerk.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the February 13, 2012 meeting were approved as read.

Cleanup day will be delayed until fall this year due to improvements at the Cottonwood County landfill. The clerk will include a note in the next newsletter/water bill.

Ryker spoke with the representative from the natural gas company and he would like to attend a council meeting in June.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker to transfer $15,000 from the sewer fund to the general fund. Unanimous vote.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.

Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 7:58 p.m. having no further business.
