City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on August 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Curt Determan, Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Lance Holmen, Maintenance.

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the July 23, 2012 meeting were approved as read.

Motion Determan, second Duroe, unanimous vote for Clerk to purchase the WDD-180 Protex Through-the-wall Drop Box for $192, if it is considered fireproof. If not, the clerk will continue looking for a different one.

The clerk will send a letter to a resident for not following recreational fire guidelines.

A resident requested a “Children At Play” sign near his home on Peavey Street.

Motion Duroe, second Determan to pay all bills and approve the financial report, unanimous vote.

Motion Determan, second Duroe, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:05 p.m. having no further business.
