City of Jeffers - City Council Meeting

The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on February 22, 2010 at 7:00 PM at City Hall.  Present:  Mayor Brad Prins; Council members:  Curt Johnson, Roberta Duroe, Shawna Dorr-Jones, Curt Determan; Lance Holmen, Maintenance; Sharen Goeman, Clerk.  

Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes of the February 8, 2009 meeting were approved as read.

Lance reported that he and Mayor Prins purchased a 2002 GMC pickup for $10,759.52 including trade of the old city pickup.  

Personnel issues were discussed.

The clerk will send a reminder to a resident about parking on the street after a snow fall.  

Sharen reported to the council that she will be attending a Clerk\\\'s conference in March in St. Cloud.  She will check with Jan Prins to fill in for her.  

The clerk will also check with Dennis Nelson on when he will be attending a council meeting for the next step in the street/sewer project.  

The clerk will work on Lance\\\'s computer to install virus protection.

Mayor Prins reported he spoke with a resident about parking on the street after a snowfall.

Motion Dorr-Jones, second Determan, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.  Motion Johnson, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn the meeting having no further business at 8:20 p.m.
