The Jeffers City Council met in REGULAR session on September 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Present: Mayor Brad Prins, Council members: Roberta Duroe, Curt Determan, Sheila Ryker, Shawna Dorr-Jones. Sharen Goeman, Clerk. Absent: Lance Holmen, Maintenance.
Mayor Prins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes from the August 27, 2012 meeting were approved as read.
The Animal Control officer will proceed with the Dangerous Dog process for the dog impounded from 203 N. Best Avenue.
Ryker requested the council check in to enacting an ordinance for obnoxious persons at local businesses or public places.
Friday, October 12 will be the Fall Cleanup Day. Residents should pay $20 to get on the list for pickup by October 11th. The clerk will list it in the Shopper and post signs, along with adding it to the newsletter.
The clerk noted that the Clerk’s office will have varying hours during the month of October. Please watch the signs for hours.
Motion Dorr-Jones, second Ryker, unanimous vote to pay all bills and approve the financial report.
Motion Ryker, second Determan, unanimous vote to adjourn at 8:05 p.m. having no further business.
